If you discover you do have a plug with a fuse inside, you might find that replacing it may get your air fryer working again. If your plug looks like this, it probably has a fuse inside. See the pictures below to find out if your air fryers plug has a fuse. Although not all plugs have a fuse in the first place. If you don’t have a similar power cable to try out, you may want to at least change the fuse. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend using another cable for extended periods of time, just simply to test the integrity of your current cable for warranty purposes. You should find that most kitchen appliances use a similar style of cable. Hopefully, you have a similar cable lying around your house. It is much easier to ask your air fryer manufacturer to send out a new cable than a whole new air fryer!! The best way to check whether the problem is with your cable or with the air fryer itself, is to swap out the power cable. It sounds obvious, but you would be surprised at how many times this is the issue!Īlso, you want to rule out the possibility of a faulty cable rather than the air fryer itself. You don’t want the embarrassment of taking your shiny new air fryer back to the shop only to find that the power cable wasn’t connected properly! So, check the power cord and make sure it is properly connected to the wall socket and to your air fryer.
